The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 543 - 543 Slipper throwing skills

Zi Xingxi who was naked under the covers turned to push Yeoh Jun away while mumbling, “Your son is calling,” before falling back to sleep.

“What do you mean my son? You made him?” replied Yeoh Jun pulling the covers over his head. Last night these two had gotten it on all night long living it up like they were twenty.

They had exhausted themselves half to death and still had to wake up and travel to the Lin family’s private planet.

“I didn’t make him alone. Go tell him that we will be late. That Yi Zhen owes us big time,” she said before turning to sleep on her side.

Yeoh Jun kissed her forehead before getting up with a typical dad sigh. He stretched out his muscles while asking, “Why is he so energetic? Where does he even get the energy from?”

Zi Xingxi who had been toyed with all night like a sex doll, “...”

Yeoh Jun felt her stare from behind him thus he looked back and asked naively, “What?” Zi Xingxi pulled up the quilt and ignored him. Yeoh Jun got up and put on a pair of loose pants before walking out.

Zi Han was in his bedroom looking at the mirror with a nice outfit on. When he heard the sound of footsteps he turned around and asked, “Is it too much?”

.....

“Yes... most definitely yes. Didn’t you tell your mother that you were a big boy now and didn’t need help picking clothes?” said Yeoh Jun ruffling his hair as he walked toward Zi Han’s closet.

“I did but now I feel like adulting is hard. How am I supposed to know what to wear? Should I wear a pair of shorts or maybe a suit? What did you wear when you saw grandpa?” he asked.

The shirtless Yeoh Jun randomly pulled out a t-shirt and said, “Your mother picked my outfit. She said I needed something that was loose enough for me to run.”

Zi Han, “...”

“He wore a pair of shorts, a sports vest and trackers,” said grandpa Zi who overheard them talking while passing by.

“And you never caught me,” said Yeoh Jun and grandpa Zi saw the scratch marks on his back before snorting,

“Would you like a rematch with my slipper? Go ahead, I will give you a thirty-second head start.”

Zi Han smiled excitedly while saying, “Is this really happening?... Are we doing this?”

“We sure are. You will never catch me, old man,” said Yeoh Jun with a smug look on his face.

“I see, you are a big boy now. Don’t cry later when I send you to your ancestors,” said Grandpa Zi already taking off his slipper.

Zi Han, “...”

Two minutes later and they were in the training room putting up a simulation. They didn’t have a garden so this would work just fine.

“Go grandpa,” yelled Zi Han watching the two adults acting childish. Why was it so much fun?

“You! Who birthed you?” said Yeoh Jun his tone accusatory.

“Sorry pa, gramps is going to win this one. His slipper throwing skills are accurate... ouch,” he yelped when a fluffy wolf slipper landed on his arm. It was his dad who threw it and it landed accurately.

“I am better than him,” said Yeoh Jun and Zi Han laughed dodging the second one. He had already forgotten that he was the one screaming ‘we are late’ ‘we are late’ over and over again.

“Still not running?” Zi Feiji asked and Yeoh Jun exclaimed,

“Shit,” before running like the wind.

“Thirty seconds is up gramps. You got this,” said Zi Han being the most perfect enabler in this childish game.

Grandpa Zi held his slipper and like a sniper looking through the scope he calculated the approximate distance and angle.

After swinging his arm twice he finally locked on his target and threw the slipper and at a forty five degree angle. With a whoosh whoosh whoosh it spun in the air a couple of times and bam it hit Yeoh Jun like a heat-seeking missile.

“Yesssss!!!” yelled Zi Han like a soccer fan celebrating victory without doing anything.

Yeoh Jun felt that one. His father in law was especially ruthless with that throw. He got up and walked over while complaining but when he saw his wife standing behind the two who were clearly unaware that she was there, he started to limp while holding his upper back pretending to be injured.

He was like a husky copying its injured owner’s limping movements. Zi Han and Zi Feiji were a little confused. Let’s not even mention his mental power rank, he was fine just now and two seconds later he was limping. Something was definitely up.

“You know one of the joys of having a son in law is to bully them. It’s like having a younger brother that you can push around,” whispered Zi Feiji his gaze fixed on this person who was obviously faking an injury.

“Will they do that to me?” asked Zi Han and Zi Feiji replied,

“No, your father will do that to Yi Chen. Wait and see.”

“Wait and see what?” said a very familiar voice and the two of them jolted in fright.

“How how how long have you been standing there?” stammered Zi Feiji wondering how much she heard.

“I heard everything... and you? Weren’t you the one waking me up with your yelling and foot stomping like an elephant yet you are playing with these two over here,” she said pinching his ear.

“Ah ma I was wrong? I was wrong,” he said and she let him go.

Before walking past them and hugging Yeoh Jun. “Where does it hurt? Where did it hit you?” she asked looking him up and down like he was expensive porcelain.

“The only thing that hurts is his pride. I barely touched him,” said Zi Feiji after seeing that smirk on Yeoh Jun’s face.

“You see that? Your father is a scam artist,” he said but Zi Han’s reaction wasn’t as expected. Instead of scolding his father with him, Zi Han had changed teams really fast.

“Are you taking disciples? I need to learn from you,” he whispered. This pitiful act was gold. It could grant him several benefits.

Little did he know that his mother was the true master. When she was pregnant, Yeoh Jun worked like a horse and didn’t even complain about it. She was waking up in the middle of the night craving pork and he would make it with a happy smile.
