The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 110

As long as Yi Chen could guarantee that Zi Han wouldn’t be chased with a high-heeled shoe by someone else’s mother he would agree.

“Fine, as long as there is cake I will show up,” said Zi Han a little frazzled.

This had to be the last time otherwise he might begin to get addicted to wearing women’s clothes. There wasn’t anything wrong with that but he just didn’t want that for himself.

Yi Chen suppressed a smile as he raised his arm intending to drape it around Zi Han’s shoulder but he suddenly felt nervous.

He knew what he wanted from Zi Han was more than friendship and felt bad whenever he touched him. He felt like he was taking advantage of the situation by eating tofu with the other party being unaware of it.

But he also couldn’t help himself. While he was seriously thinking it through as though solving a complicated math problem Zi Han took the initiative to drap his arm over Yi Chen’s shoulder. Because of the height difference, it was slightly awkward but Zi Han didn’t care.

“You know class president, you have to compensate me well. From what I have heard you are in high demand as one of the federation’s most elite bachelors. You are about to put a target on my back if I walk into that place.”

“Those women of the federation noble class are as ruthless as piranhas. I might have to trouble class president to protect me,” said Zi Han jokingly. Everything else except the part about federation nobles being ruthless.

.....

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Zi Han walks out of there with his wig snatched off and missing an eyelash or two after getting into a cat fight. It had happened before and that incident broke Starnet for a day.

One of the prime minister’s daughters had fought with a female sergeant at one of the banquets. And who did they fight over? It was the newly appointed female admiral to the Marshal who neither of them were acquainted with so yep.....

Yi Chen turned his face to the side and his lips almost brushed past Zi Han’s slightly pink cheek. His heart stopped beating for a second as he stared blankly at Zi Han’s side profile.

Saturday couldn’t come fast enough. He couldn’t wait to play house with Zi Han. Well, it couldn’t exactly be called ‘playing house’ but playing ‘pretend date’.

Ding!

Zi Han’s light brain which was silent this entire time suddenly made a dinging sound alerting him of a new message. When he saw who it was Zi Han retracted his hand while saying, “My grandfather is here so I will see you tomorrow. Bye.”

After saying this Zi Han didn’t even wait for Yi Chen to respond. He just ran off without a second thought. Yi Chen was left standing there while holding his chest with an unfathomable gaze.

He had never looked forward to something this much. For the first time in his life, he couldn’t wait for the weekend to arrive.

***

As expected when one is looking forward to something time seems to be moving slow. Yi Chen was so thrilled about Saturday that he could barely sleep replaying the conversation he had with Zi Han over and over again.

An unconscious smile would creep up his face from time to time whenever he thought about it. He was so excited that even his mother could feel a strong sense of exhilaration coming from him without even showing it on his face. She had no idea what good thing had befallen her son but she didn’t probe into it.

That wasn’t the only good thing happening to him. He had also started having virtual tutoring sessions in the simulator with Zi Han and if he wasn’t sure about his feelings before he was most certainly sure now. His heart was no longer his own. It belonged to Zi Han as long as he was willing to accept it.

Zi Han on the other hand wasn’t even thinking about this thing on Saturday. That’s because each time he bumped into Professor Quinn he would squint his eyes with an expression that seemed to be saying, “I am coming to get you.”

Such a terrifying threat had him buried in studying that he almost forgot that he had an appointment with Yi Chen on Saturday. He was so preoccupied that when Saturday morning came he was passed out sleeping like the dead. If it weren’t for Yi Chen’s video call in the morning he might have slept for the rest of the day.

His windows were in night mode and he was sleeping on his tummy his limbs spread out with one of his legs outside the quilt. Soft snores filled the room with a warm atmosphere that could coax one to sleep.

Tee tee tee tee tee tee... tee tee tee tee tee tee...

The sound of his light brain alerting him of a video request permeated the air but the sleeping Zi Han didn’t open his eyes. Instead, he felt around for his light brain.

He wanted to bring it up to his face and see who it was but he accidentally clicked accept and a huge floating screen appeared at the foot of his bed.

Because when he entered the penthouse his light brain would automatically connect to the AI system running the house it would enlarge his video call as per his settings.

Yi Chen who hadn’t expected such a sensual view was at a loss as he sat there unable to extricate himself. Zi Han’s leg was out of the quilt and Yi Chen could see his bare skin from his wiggling toes to his upper thigh. The rest was blocked by a pair of black trunks.

Zi Han finally opened his eyes while mumbling something sheepishly and when he saw Yi Chen he wasn’t at all surprised. Thinking they had a scheduled tutoring session that he had forgotten about he rubbed his eyes while turning over and asked, “Aah..... I thought today you said we will take some time off?”

Yi Chen who thought things couldn’t get any worse realized that Zi Han was naked with only a pair of trunks. His ears became hot with a blush slowly creeping up his neck to his cheeks. Zi Han was the very definition of temptation. He didn’t know how long he would last without exposing himself.

Author’s Note: Anyone with holy water? We need to drown him in it.
