The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 51

That powerful tornado was none other than Zi Han who was being held back by their class president. Zi Han should have calmed down by now but that wasn’t necessarily the case.

Zi Han kept trying to push back Yi Chen who was pressing him against the wall with his arm across Zi Han’s collarbone. “Cadet, stand down!” yelled Yi Chen but Zi Han couldn’t hear anything.

His ears were buzzing with his body trembling in anger. His menacing gaze was fixed on the group of people who caused this in the first place.

The little shorty wiped the corner of his mouth panting heavily glaring at Zi Han while saying, “You better thank the class president otherwise.....”

“Otherwise what?..... Do you still want to talk shit when your face is that fucked up? I think you haven’t had enough.... come here,” said Zi Han as he struggled to break free again. For some reason, the short boy was a little frightened that he took a step back.

Lucky for him Zi Han was firmly pressed by Yi Chen who yelled again, “Cadet Han, I said stand down!”

That deep menacing voice ultimately brought Zi Han out of his temporary madness and he finally looked at Yi Chen. Every muscle in his body tensed up firmly rejecting this person. He wanted to push Yi Chen away but his brow furrowed when he noticed something.

A stream of blood flowed from one of Yi Chen’s nostrils. The area around his nose was red and slightly swollen like someone had beat him up. Wait? Someone had hit him?

.....

Zi Han, “Fuck!”

When Yi Chen noticed his odd gaze he figured something was wrong. He slowly let go of Zi Han with a scowl on his face. He lightly touched his nose with his finger and there it was. On his fingertip was a drop of bright red blood.

Li Ran who noticed something was wrong walked over in two strides and pulled his arm forcing Yi Chen to turn around.

Seeing that swollen nose he drew in a cold breath of air and glanced over in Zi Han’s direction. He suddenly raised his finger and pointed at Zi Han having recognized him but before he could say anything Zi Han was suddenly pulled by the back of his collar.

“What the fuck are you..... shit! Let me go,” yelled Zi Han feeling humiliated.

Yi Chen didn’t hear him or maybe he did but he didn’t care. He had been angry with himself an hour ago for involving himself with this person. Even now he couldn’t understand what had possessed him enough to make him grasp the boy’s hand during the class picture session.

When Zi Xingxi threatened him he had vowed to stay as far away as possible from this person. Based on this premise he should have let the boy go when they were taking that class picture. Wasn’t it good to live in peace and harmony without attracting crazy people?

Thus he recommitted to his vow. He would try by any means necessary to stay away from him but who was he kidding. The moment he stepped into class he saw two people tussling on the floor thus he pulled one of them away only to get hit in the nose. That person also happened to be that cadet he wanted nothing to do with.

“Where are you taking me?..... Fuck, at least let go of my collar you are ruining my uniform,” complained Zi Han only for Yi Chen’s steps to pause and turn to face him.

Caught off guard Zi Han took a step back after almost bumping into him. Yi Chen looked down at his already ruined coat and untucked shirt with a look of disdain before saying, “It’s already ruined. Don’t put that pot over my head.”

Zi Han, “...” He suddenly felt a surge of annoyance choking him in his throat. Yes, his uniform was ruined but that fucker insulted his mother. What was he supposed to do? Lie down and play dead like a fuckin possum? One thing was for certain. His grandfather was definitely going to kill him.

Despite all that Yi Chen still let go of his collar and gripped his wrist instead before pulling him like a rag doll down the corridor. His other hand was pinching his nose making all those passersby who saw this scene curious.

Meanwhile, class one was in chaos. That’s because a cadet who wasn’t supposed to be in their class in the first place had been knocked out and three others were injured.

Li Ran was squatting in front of Maverick with a taunting expression as he poked the person with a stylus pen that had fallen from one of the desks during the chaos.

“I think he is dead,” he said with a smug expression.

“No, he is not. Get away from him,” said the tall girl as she shoved Li Ran away and crouched down before Maverick. She gently patted Maverick’s face a couple of times and the boy’s lashes fluttered like he was about to wake up.

That’s the moment Hela walked in only to be met by a chaotic mess. Because she was the vice class president she had to sort this mess out but where on earth was she supposed to begin?

“What happened?..... Somebody take him to the infirmary and you three, who did you fight with? Section two point five of Scylla Military Academy rule book prohibits any sort of physical confrontation outside training. You will be punished accordingly,” she said only for Li Ran to pour gasoline directly onto the fire.

“Oh, and he said to the male cadet he fought with that he hits like a girl. I wonder what a girl hits like,” said Li Ran pointing at the garden gnome with a sly grin that spelt mischief. Most of the people in this class knew each other as they attended the same high school before enrolling into this academy.

He knew this was a sore spot for Hela thus he deliberately pointed it out. For centuries women had proved themselves in every aspect, especially in the Military. It was a backward way of thinking that didn’t deserve to be a part of the Onyx federation’s philosophy and doctrine. Thus this kind of insult didn’t settle well with girls in the academy.

“He said what now? Shorty, do you want to go, huh? I will fucking show you what a girl hits like,” she said taking off her coat forgetting that she was the vice class president.

“Shit,” muttered the garden gnome as he moved a few steps away.

“Wait, wait....”

“Oh,.calm down vice president.....”

“Why stop her? I think he deserves a beating...”

The entire class became even more excitable as a few girls held back Hela while the short guy made his escape.

While some people were trying to calm this goddess down, Zi Han was dragged into the Dean’s office and forced to sit down for judgement.
